Abstract: This paper studies the boundedness, the persistence, the periodicity and the stability of the positive solutions of the non-autonomous difference equation: Xn+1 = An + (Xn−1)/Xn)p where An is a positive bounded sequence, p ∈ (0, 1) ∪ (1, ∞) and X1, X0 ∈ (0, ∞)
