Abstract: In conclusion, as the world navigates the repercussions of unparalleled challenges, it is increasingly evident that the fundamentals of ethical conduct, transparency and accountability need to be deeply embedded in the structure of corporate governance frameworks. Furthermore, the pandemic has shed light on the interdependence of businesses with society and the environment, underscoring the requirement for a comprehensive approach to decision-making that considers not just financial gains but also the welfare of stakeholders and the planet.
