Abstract: This article presents the authors| concept of Performance Measurement (PM) in a Virtual Organisation (VO) based on the virtual organising process approach. This is a response to the conspicuous gap that existing frameworks present, namely, that they cover supply chain performance and focus on single organisations. Therefore, there is a need to explore the PM applied in a VO.

Keywords: virtual organisations; performance measurement; process-based measurement; process modelling.
