Abstract: In order to improve the production efficiency and resource utilisation efficiency of factory assembly lines, an intelligent factory assembly line optimisation scheduling method based on firefly algorithm is proposed. This method first uses the K-means clustering method to collect and classify monitoring data of intelligent factory assembly lines. Then, based on the goal of minimum delay and shortest production time on the assembly line, a scheduling plan is constructed. Finally, the firefly algorithm is used to calculate the optimal solution of the scheduling plan and achieve optimised scheduling of the intelligent factory assembly line. The experimental results show that compared to existing optimisation scheduling methods, this method can not only improve the production efficiency of the assembly line, but also improve resource utilisation. In actual testing, the production efficiency and resource utilisation rate of this method have reached over 90%, verifying its strong optimisation scheduling performance.
