Abstract: This paper aims to examine the impact of training and development on employee performance and productivity. A questionnaire was prepared and distributed to a sample of 243 employees from the telecommunications sector in Jordan to examine the impact of training and development on employee performance and productivity. The results of the investigation showed that training and development has a positive impact on employee performance and productivity. The findings indicate that training and development positively influence employee performance and productivity. This research provides a broader perspective that contributes to a deeper understanding of the issue and helps identify effective solutions. This research found that training and development are important for the employee to improve their skills, knowledge, and communication in order to have a positive impact on the telecommunications industry.
