Abstract: The evaluation effect of online teaching quality not only affects the development of teaching models, but also has an impact on the learning quality of students. Therefore, a method for evaluating online teaching quality based on improved entropy method in the context of sustainable development is proposed. Firstly, under the principle of sustainable development, K-means clustering algorithm is used to cluster and mine online teaching data. Secondly, based on the excavated online teaching data, establish an online teaching quality evaluation index system. Finally, the standard transformation method is used to improve the entropy method, and the improved entropy method is used to calculate the comprehensive index of online teaching quality evaluation, completing the graded evaluation of online teaching quality. The test results show that the proposed evaluation method can accurately and efficiently evaluate online teaching, with a maximum evaluation accuracy of 99.84%.
