Abstract: This study conducts a comparative analysis of intellectual property rights management (IPRM) between Türkiye and the USA and aims to reveal the complexities of the legal frameworks, institutional structures and practical implementations of IPR strategies in both jurisdictions. By delving into the historical evolution of IPR laws, this paper highlights how legislative milestones have influenced innovation and economic shifts towards knowledge-based economies in countries. A detailed comparative analysis, encapsulated in a comprehensive table, lays the groundwork for understanding the effectiveness of IPRM in fostering innovation and economic development. The findings reveal that while the USA benefits from a robust IPR framework that significantly contributes to its global innovation leadership, Türkiye's evolving IPR system showcases a commitment to strengthening its intellectual property rights, albeit with room for enhancement, particularly in enforcement and technology transfer. This comparative insight also provides a blueprint for emerging economies seeking to optimise their IPR.
