Abstract: With the fast market growth of digital products such as gaming platforms, digital product development has become critical to the success of companies in these industries. This study identifies the differences between physical and digital products in terms of the new product development processes. Methods are identified to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of digital product development through a case study. Among those methods, modular design, agile production, and cross-functional teams are highly recommended due to their effectiveness.
