Abstract: In this manuscript, Bayesian multi-agent-based prioritised load balancing is proposed for controlling video traffic in a wireless mesh network (BMA-PLB-CVT-WMN) to overcome such limitations. The Bayesian multi-agent based prioritised load balancing scheme enhances video packet balance and load performance by minimising end-to-end delay. This scheme deploys multiple agents routing agent, a traffic monitoring agent, and a traffic controlling agent to manage video traffic efficiently in a WMN. Initially, the routing agent facilitates optimal path selection for video packets from source to destination nodes, ensuring reliable delivery. The traffic monitoring agent, guided by the Bayesian theorem, identifies abnormal traffic. Finally, the traffic controlling agent, employing the prioritised load balancing algorithm, balances video packet loads at node queues, significantly improving load performance and reducing end-to-end delays during transmission in the network. The proposed method attains a higher end-to-end delay and a lesser execution time compared to existing techniques, respectively.
