Abstract: With the popularity of English education, students' anxiety has an important impact on learning effect. The purpose of this study is to explore the anxiety factors of English learners and their impact on teaching performance, and use R language for data analysis. Through the questionnaire survey of English majors' anxiety, this paper collected the quantitative data of language anxiety, test anxiety, communication anxiety and other anxiety factors. On this basis, the factor analysis method is used to extract and verify the English learning anxiety factors, and determine the main anxiety factors and their internal structure. At the same time, the relationship between anxiety factors and academic performance is discussed by using correlation analysis and regression analysis. The results show that language anxiety and communication anxiety are the main sources of students' anxiety, and they are significantly negatively correlated with students' teaching performance.
