Title: Study on classification and search method of college English electronic resources based on Top-k query algorithm

Abstract: This paper proposes a college English electronic resource classification search method based on Top-k query algorithm. Firstly, determine the query mode of the Top-k query algorithm; secondly, the pre-processing of electronic resources is completed through data cleaning and denoising; thirdly, the information gain method and the maximum correlation minimum redundancy algorithm are used to extract the information characteristics of electronic resource data. Ultimately, the polynomial Naïve Bayes algorithm is employed to categorise college English electronic resources. A model for information retrieval is then established, enabling the classification and search of these resources through the application of a hashing algorithm. The experimental results indicate that the proposed method achieves a classification accuracy ranging from 90 to 98%, with a search waiting time of no more than 23 seconds. This combination of high accuracy and short waiting time demonstrates its excellent application performance.
