Abstract: The purpose of the present work is to optimise a novel flash-binary geothermal CCHP system based on TRCC cycle. Through optimisation, the values of separator pressure and power generation cost, energy and exergy efficiencies are set to 300 kPa, 2.764 cent/kwh, 23.81% and 16.03%, respectively. Furthermore, highest amounts of capital cost rate, exergy destruction cost rate and total cost rate are for turbine 1, exchanger 1 and turbine 2, respectively. The reduction of emission of CO2 and cost of emission in the proposed cycle is 2.4 kg/s and 300 USD/hr, respectively.

Keywords: geothermal; CCHP; TRCC; exergy; optimisation.
