Abstract: Palm oil is the main plantation commodity in Indonesia which requires a lot of energy in its processing. The study was conducted by collecting data related to temperature, pressure, and mass flow rate. The data were analysed using volume control to assess thermal and mass equilibrium with the Cycle Tempo application and ascertain the exergy value. The analysis is carried out theoretically and compared with the results calculated with the Cycle Tempo software. The results showed that the steam power plant from 20418.4 kW of steam energy entered the system. The total number of exergies is 12152.27 kW. The Steam Power Plant at PT Kerry Sawit Indonesia has an energy efficiency of 71.5% and an external efficiency of 45.09%. The largest loss of 32.75% of the total exergy is in the burner, caused by the energy wasted out into the environment.
