Abstract: Due to the long-term imbalance of China's industrial structure, non-renewable resources have entered a period of depletion. As a result, China has formulated a strategy for building an environmentally friendly society. Therefore, the construction status and optimisation strategies of an environmentally friendly society under the concept of sustainable development have been proposed. Build a comprehensive evaluation index system for the construction of an environmentally friendly society, and complete the current status analysis of the construction of an environmentally friendly society based on the comprehensive evaluation results. Develop optimisation strategies for the construction of an environmentally friendly society and promote the rapid construction of an environmentally friendly society. The case analysis results indicate that the optimisation strategies formulated can effectively reduce the energy use and pollution waste emissions of cities, and promote the construction of an environmentally friendly society in China while ensuring positive economic development.
