Abstract: In order to maintain the balance of nature, improve environmental quality, promote sustainable development, and make rational use of land resources, this paper studies urban-rural space ecology and environmental planning from the perspective of the theory of human settlements. To do this, we establish a functional evaluation index system, determine the ecological source of urban-rural space, construct a pattern of urban-rural space ecology and environmental security, calculate the resistance value of the ecological source through the combination weighting method, determine the ecological corridor and ecological nodes through the gravity model, divide the space of the control line through the growth boundary threshold, and improve the effectiveness of ecological and environmental planning. Experiments have shown that the highest cumulative resistance of each ecological source in the region is 9.2×104, with a minimum cumulative resistance of 3×104, the landscape spread and richness index of each ecological source area have significantly improved, which can significantly improve the urban and rural ecological environment, and enhance people's comfort and satisfaction in living.
