Abstract: Talent management plays a crucial role in organisational success by effectively managing key personnel. In the dynamic environment of Industry 4.0, digital transformation profoundly impacts organisations across all sectors, including talent management. Although Vietnamese banks have devised strategies for managing their talented employees, the effective management of talent remains an evolving challenge, particularly in the context of digital transformation. This study explores the relationship between digital transformation and the effectiveness of talent management within Vietnam's banking sector. An online survey was conducted to collect empirical data, targeting leaders, senior managers, and managers from Vietnamese banks, yielding a total of 350 valid responses. A structural equation model was utilised for quantitative analysis. The results suggest that digital transformation objectives (DTO) and drivers contribute to the success of the digital transformation process and that digital transformation has a significant impact on the effectiveness of talent management in the Vietnamese banking sector.
