Abstract: The transport management system (TMS) has to be managed effectively in the organisations, which impacts developing productivity and profitability. It is also significant to maintain a stable environment of profits for the organisation by implementing some major steps in the TMS. The supply chain network (SCN) influences the manufacturers, dealers, distributors, suppliers, and customers. This research is focused on the challenges in the transport management system to optimise it in a durable supply chain network. A semi-structured survey questionnaire was utilised to gather the data from the organisations of Andhra Pradesh, and a quantitative analysis was performed using the data. Hence, by investigating the fundamental issues it benefits in implementing to optimise the TMS for the durable goods supply chain network.
