Abstract: This research investigates job satisfaction among lower- and middle-level managers in 5-star hotels in Qatar, focusing on factors such as remuneration, work environment, career growth, relationship with immediate supervisors, job security, expatriate work adjustment, and social life adjustment. Adopting a positivist paradigm and quantitative approach, data were collected through online questionnaires from 188 expatriate employees. The study reveals overall job satisfaction is generally positive, with career growth, satisfaction with immediate supervisors, and the work environment being the top contributors. Conversely, social life adjustment, expatriate work life adjustment, and remuneration were identified as areas needing improvement. Hypothesis testing found a statistically significant association between employee cadre and relationship with immediate supervisors in relation to job satisfaction. The study provides recommendations for top-level hotel management to enhance expatriate job satisfaction, offering valuable insights for both academics and practitioners in hospitality management.
