Abstract: The metal modified by nano TiN has higher fracture toughness and bending strength, which is more suitable for high-strength steel processing than cemented carbide. Therefore, the wear properties of the metal cutlery modified by nano TiN based on increment theory are analysed. Starting from the selection of nano-TiN modified metal tool increment materials, the wear properties of nano-TiN and conventional TY14 cemented carbide tools were analysed and compared under the condition of continuous annealing. From the analysis, under the same processing conditions, the metal cutlery modified by nano TiN has better wear properties.
