Abstract: The physiological effects of ageing are inevitable. Unfortunately, the current literature does not provide a well-rounded solution to prevent this process. There are numerous studies supporting crucial components that help slow down the effects of ageing and to promote healthy ageing processes. These elements are proper nutritional intake, physical activity and cognitive training. However, a glaring issue is no current literature investigates how all these elements can impact the ageing adult. This literature review aims to determine how older adults' cognition is impacted by nutrition, exercise and functional mobility.
