Title: Design and application of intelligent teaching system for network and new media major driven by artificial intelligence technology

Abstract: On the basis of the traditional intelligent teaching system (ITS), the personalised network and new media professional ITS uses AI technology to make reasonable improvements in the expansion of educational resources and in-depth exploration of educational significance making the ITS more intelligent. This article focuses on the design of intelligent teaching systems for networks and new media, analyses and uses a user interest model based on deep learning algorithms, proposes an optimisation solution for traditional intelligent teaching systems, and provides the implementation of system functions. The experiment shows that the model has achieved good results. The system's functionality was tested and the results showed that it was functioning normally and relatively stable. Through algorithm improvement, it further promotes the effective improvement of algorithm training effectiveness.
