Abstract: This paper presents a comparative analysis of the process before and after the modification. Furthermore, the modified process was subjected to both conventional and enhanced exergy analysis. The results demonstrated a reduction in energy consumption and the number of main equipment units in the modified system. The primary source of exergy destruction within the system was the MDEA (N-Methyldiethanolamine) regeneration tower. The total destruction of the system is 39.23%, which could be mitigated by enhancing the efficiency of the components. The proposed measures aim to provide guidance for the reduction of exergy destruction in similar oil and gas treatment processes.

Keywords: condensate gas treatment; energy consumption; enhanced exergy analysis; exergy destruction; improvement strategies.
