Abstract: Due to THD related issues, multilevel inverters are finding more applications in electrical engineering such as power generation, torque drives, motor drives, etc. However, the requirement of high speed embedded system restricts many electrical engineers from using multilevel inverters. Many electrical engineers may not have expertise regarding the emerging technologies in embedded systems. So many of power electronics engineers find it difficult to generate switching signals for various power electronics converters using embedded systems. In this paper control signal generation using linear circuits is proposed. The switching signals for the power MOSFETs of the MLIs are generated using operational amplifiers. Operational amplifiers provide numerous important benefits. Their high level of integration condenses multiple functions into a single IC package, simplifies the circuit design. Op-amps excel in precision, providing accuracy and reliability in signal processing, making them invaluable for applications demanding minimal distortion and noise. After implementation of the proposed work, we got excellent output over time versus temperature stability by using linear circuits.
