Abstract: This paper explores the transformative potential of the knowledge trinity to enhance the business consciousness in the era of expanding technologies. It aims to provide a philosophical foundation for consciousness for examining the knowledge trinity based on Vedic wisdom from the east. It consists of knowledge itself (includes the process of tacit knowing, ways of knowing such as reason, beliefs, and faith), the knowable (which encompasses the domains of knowledge), and the knower. The proposed integrative conceptualisation of the knowledge trinity has the potential to empower businesses to better serve humanity. We address cybersecurity challenges and argue how such conceptualisation gives a lens to cybersecurity which invites for a more conscious and ethical approach. The insights of this paper can be positioned for enhancing business practices and leadership in the context of emerging technologies while contributing to the broader goal of achieving sustainable development and well-being for all.
