Abstract: The purpose of this study is to examine the construct validity of job involvement and work involvement, and to compare the results using three different methods of analysis. Overall the results provide support for the conceptual distinction between job involvement and work involvement, but also indicate the difficulties related to their measurement. The results of the three different methods yield quite different conclusions regarding the measurement of job involvement and work involvement.
