New standards of speed, effectiveness and accuracy have been registered in the information processing; however, this has also affected the human behaviour. The modern digital world of global networks and cyberspace poses a wide spectrum of techno-ethical challenges along with the political and social challenges. It is very important for businesses and other stakeholders of these technologies to understand and effectively deal with the probable ethical and social issues raised by these new technologies. Significant number of consumers may be at risk of moral and behavioural harm, due to technological implications. In the present work, techno-ethical challenges associated with the ten most important technologies of the decade (as indicated by prominent surveys) have been presented along with the developmental perspective of these technologies. Applications of these technologies must be planned, taking care of these techno ethics to safeguard the interests of stakeholders.
