Title: The impacts of human resource development on performance of manufacturing companies in Jordon: mediating role of dynamic capabilities

Abstract: The aim connected with the current research is to examine the impact of human resources (HR) development such as performance appraisal, compensation practices and career advancement on the performance of manufacturing companies in Jordan. The purpose of the research also shows the investigation of the mediating role of dynamic capabilities among the nexus of HR development and the performance of manufacturing companies. The data was collected by non-random sample consisted of 290 questionnaires from the HR department of the manufacturing companies with respondent rate of 67.44%. The structural equation modeling (SEM) was executed through AMOS program for the analysis and testing the research hypothesis purposes. The results revealed that all the dimensions of HR development such as performance appraisal, compensation practices and career advancement have positive linkage with the performance of manufacturing companies. The findings also revealed that DC have played a positive mediating role among the nexus of HR development and the performance of manufacturing companies. These findings have provided the guidelines to the higher authorities of manufacturing companies that they should focus on the development of HR practices along with the DC that enhance the performance of the organisation.
