Abstract: Splashing is the main problem of the vehicle while passing over a water puddle on the road. The current research paper shows the solution to four problems in the vaned plate attached to the wheel. This research gives a design comparison of normal plate and vaned plate and how it differs in splashing conditions. The research used static analysis based on the ANSYS R19.2 and Mechanical APDL solver. The load is specifically applied to the area where the possibility of splashing occurs. The current work shows carbon fibre is the best material for the vaned plate attached to the wheel. It is concluded that the chances of failure would be null with the 20 kg/cm2 pressure in terms of splash applied on the splashing area.
