Abstract: This study, one of the first of its kind, investigates how knowledge sharing behaviour moderates the relationship between workplace ostracism and employee creativity. Utilising quantitative methods and structural equation modelling, it examined these relationships. Data were collected from 200 employees across organisational levels in the Bangladeshi insurance sector. Results indicate that ostracism inversely affects creativity. Notably, knowledge sharing significantly diminishes the ostracism-creativity link, underscoring its moderating influence. These findings offer organisations valuable insights for enhancing workplace creativity through increased knowledge sharing. Implementing these outcomes could elevate employee experiences and the overall productivity of companies. Furthermore, this research advances literature by exploring how knowledge sharing, grounded in the conservation of resources theory, moderates the impact of workplace ostracism on employee creativity. Study limitations include a relatively small sample size, potential social bias, and cross-sectional data, which temper generalisability. To deepen understanding, future research should investigate these dynamics in diverse contexts.
