Title: Business ecosystems for value co-creation in the internet economy and its relevance for logistics management and manufacturing

Abstract: In today's economy, firms are increasingly integrating information technology into their business processes and routines. This paper discusses how value co-creation has now helped firms integrate online customers for collaborative product and service improvements. The research focuses on how customer added capital and information technology (IT) added capital is relevant to the industry. In industries, the networked interactions, information quality, networked learning and efficacy, recreation, intrinsic and extrinsic motivation and professions are adding value to the creativity and innovativeness between firms and their customers and enhancing the economic growth. There are three research studies involved in this paper. The first study involves a comprehensive analysis of research published on internet-based value co-creation. The second study focuses on a time series study of how telecommunications has enabled economic growth in India over 40 years. The third study involves a survey of the impact of IT and internet usage on businesses across seven industries including IT, manufacturing, construction, solar energy, cosmetics, food processing and wood manufacturing in India. The paper explores how in today's internet economy the innovativeness of firms and its economic growth improves with the interplay between the social, economic and intellectual motivation in professions and vocations.
