Abstract: During the pandemic, many problems surfaced in the field of education, especially in distance education. Since our school has much experience with distance education for student-athletes, we wanted to upgrade and generalise such practices to become useful for other non-athlete students during distance education. From our many years of experience, we have found that the main problem in implementing distance education is primarily the organisation of such classes. For this purpose, a new pedagogical-organisational model with an appropriate platform and a mobile application was developed. A longitudinal study on the success of distance learning was conducted as part of this research. In parallel, a structured questionnaire was used to test what teachers believed to be the characteristics of distance education. The research shows significant statistical differences in the length of time (completion) of education of student athletes. A changed role of the teacher has also been identified.
