Abstract: The aim of this paper is to investigate the one-of-a-kind production (OKP) and its relevance to theoretical development in the field of industrial management and data systems, given the lack of bibliometric studies in this area. To this end, a bibliometric study was conducted using the Scopus database, which includes articles published from 1990 to 2019. A systematic approach was used to search, access, and classify 167 articles relevant to the study. Research data were then analysed using a variety of bibliometric techniques, including descriptive statistics, bibliometric indicators, network analysis, topic maps, and strategic diagrams. This study provides a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of research output on OKP, focusing on the most prolific and influential authors, institutes, countries, and journals. By examining bibliometric indicators, clusters, and the evolution of key themes, the study provides unique insights into the OKP field. The use of multiple data analysis techniques contributes to the depth and robustness of the study (R2).

Keywords: one-of-a-kind production; OKP; network analysis; word and co-word analysis; operations management; manufacturing management.
