Title: A scientometric review of country image research: opportunities to Brazil's brand image

Abstract: The present study aimed to explore the country image publications from 1973 to 2022 (until March) and to highlight publications related to Brazil. The scientometric analysis was combined with the theory of associative networks approach to deepen the multidimensional concept of country image and, consequently, a better understanding of consumer behaviour. By mapping Scopus database, 742 results were found for searches of the term 'country image' or 'country branding' in the title, keywords and summary, considering only articles (published, reviews and early access) in English and considering the exciting areas of business, administration and accounting, social sciences, economics, econometrics and finance, psychology and multidisciplinary. The map visualisation can facilitate a comprehensive understanding of the research in country image. It can help identify the trends or the opportunities for future research related to Brazil's brand image.
