Abstract: This paper aims to investigate the impact of corporate social responsibility practices on firm performance among Moroccan firms operating in Sub-Sahara countries. We propose and test a thorough structural model incorporating different aspects of CSR and their effect on firm performance, with innovative capacity as mediator. Based on data collected from 200 managers, the study hypotheses were assessed using structural equation modelling. Our findings suggest a significant impact of CSR practices on performance. We also demonstrate a partial mediation of innovative capacities in the nexus between CSR practices and firm performance. This study's findings extend prior literature and suggest a number of theoretical and practical implication.
