Abstract: Video streaming and transmission in MANETs requires high bandwidth requirements and tight delay constraints for the continuous media streaming. To overcome these issues, our proposed method is utilised. Here initially at the sender side, the input video is partitioned into some frames. The discrete wavelet transform (DWT) is applied to the frames to decompose the frames into sub-bands. The bit streams are used for video transmission purpose with the stream control transmission protocol (SCTP) multi-steaming. For the process of clustering, we use enhanced fuzzy C means algorithm (EFCM). The path selection for transmitting video stream is made using enhanced cuckoo search (ECS) algorithm. At the receiver side, reconstruction of frames is done using the inverse process of transmission section. Hence our proposed method has better video streaming performance, which can be derived from delay, delivery ratio, overhead, throughput, and energy consumption by varying the number of nodes and rates.
