Abstract: In this study, we concentrate on fully rough interval integer transshipment (RIIT) problems, where unit transportation costs, supply capacities, and required destination demands are all rough interval integers. Backward stepping is a sophisticated technique that has been created to address the fully RIIT problem. In comparison to other methods, the suggested method offers the best optimal solution. It also offers the best values for the decision variables and the objective function value for the fully RIIT problem, which are rough interval integers. The method for solving fully RIIT problem optimisation is demonstrated with a numerical example. The suggested method's optimal solution to the transshipment problem can assist decision-makers in making the right choice regarding transshipments.

Keywords: rough interval integers; transshipment problem; optimal solution; backward stepping method.
