Abstract: In this paper, the simulation of induction heating and hardening of flat surfaces of a moving charge have been considered, taking as examples a steel cutter knife and a grey cast iron lathe bed. The inverse method for determining charge material parameters was presented. The simulation of an inductor-charge system supplied by a series transistor inverter has been considered. The simplified 3D model of a moving inductor-charge system for determining inductor-charge parameters has been tested.
