Abstract: This article presents the challenges faced in developing the 'Wmotion MPOS' (W-MPOS) application, the methodology and methods, the design and implementation of the system, and the design, outcomes, and implications of a user trial undertaken to answer a fashion company's needs. A company that produces and sells fashion products has few requirements such as effective and efficient operational system, accurate and faster data display to accommodate the decision-making process, and enhancing business results. The application was built using the Java programming language and the database using SQLite. The development process was performed using the rapid application development (RAD) method. The study resulted that the W-MPOS application with the specified features runs smoothly and could handle applicable marketing strategies. The RAD was suitable and powerful in developing the application. Moreover, descriptive results from the user acceptance test verify that the W-MPOS application was accepted by the respondents.
