Abstract: The objective of the study is to examine the impacts of rhizobacteria and AMF on the fertility of feldspar mine spoil by using trees and crops under agro-silviculture technique. The study employed two isolated rhizobacteria Azotobacter chrococcum, Azospirillum brasilense and one AMF Glomus mosseae with three tree species Acacia nilotica, Acacia senegal, Prosopis cineraria and two crops Cyamopsis tetragonoloba and Cassia angustifolia under the research. Azotobacter + OM + NPK 50% (T-7) enhanced the growth in the range of 30%-35%, AMF + OM + NPK 50% (T-16) along with T-7 enhanced the macro and micronutrients absorption in the range of 20%-96% and 29%-70%, respectively. Azospirillum + OM + NPK 50% (T-12) improved 53%-62% enzymatic activities. Overall, A. nilotica and C. tetragonoloba responded with maximum towards the treatments. Thus, the intervention of rhizobacteria and AMF with specific organic amendments can play a key role in the rehabilitation of feldspar mine spoil.
