Abstract: In order to improve the timeliness and effect of magnetic weakening control, this study designed a constant rate magnetic weakening control method of brushless DC motor based on current advance angle method. After the motor constant rate unit is established, the motor voltage is controlled in a stable state. When the motor speed exceeds the rated speed, the lead angle of the control current is controlled by controlling the ratio of the motor terminal voltage to the bus voltage, so that the in-phase current and the back potential can keep synchronised. And then the weak magnetic control is realised. Experimental results show that the motor can enter the weak magnetic mode only 68-109 ms after using this method, the motor can achieve fast dynamic response, the speed increases to 7,000 rad/min in a short time, and the motor can achieve more than three times of weak magnetic control well.
