Abstract: The primary purpose of the current study is to investigate the antecedents to sustainable entrepreneurship among small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the UAE. The study has examined the mediating effects of the sustainability orientation and bricolage behaviours of an entrepreneur. The study used the survey method. The targeted population is the SMEs in the UAE. A convenience sampling technique was used for sample selection. The researcher used the PLS analytical approach, which involves two stages, namely, the measurement model and the structural model, where the reliability and validity of the measures are assessed in the first stage and hypothesis testing is done in the second stage. Entrepreneurial orientation plays a critical role in an SMEs' success in implementing sustainable entrepreneurship. SMEs are required to be more adaptive, innovative, and capable of recombining available sets of resources to deal with sustainability issues and provide unique and desirable business solutions.
