Abstract: Noting the phenomenon of technology fusion across technologies and industries as the critical factor that would affect the manpower shortage, this paper has tried to illustrate the notion of technology fusion and focused on presenting a prototype model for university education in a technology fusion environment. Finally this research has delved into an area for empirical back-ups for technology fusion with cases in the US, Japan and Korea. Through the analysis, technology fusion has been in development in historical data, which pressures the education sector to be changed.
