Abstract: There is an increasing interest and focus on organic food consumption worldwide in the last two decades. People are becoming more health-conscious and responsible toward the environment. The need for sustainable living, wellness, a healthy lifestyle, and a better environment bares wide-ranging advancements in the organic food industry. This study tries to expose the developments in organic food consumption area by systematic literature review through bibliometric analysis. Total numbers of 258 research articles have been taken from the Scopus database from 2000 to 2022. VOSviewer and Biblioshiny (package of R Studio) have been used to analyse the data. Valuable understandings concluded in the form of most cited documents, authors' contribution to organic food research, nations, affiliations and organisations, journals, etc. analysis of co-occurrence and analysis of cluster for major developments/themes of organic food. This study discloses an elaborated review of organic food research and reveals the potential social and practical implications for the researchers.
