Abstract: In line with the HSSS conference theme, the subject of this article is the application of the design and control systemic methodology (DCSYM) in a small and medium-sized enterprise (SME). Using a bottom-up approach, DCSYM can subsume the structural components of a system in a hierarchical list while providing a visualisation of the system structure. It can also provide a detailed description of the systems and their subsystems and interactions among individuals, including the channels, the directions, and the types of communication. In conclusion, DCSYM can help improve business performance by simulating the processes, thus enabling the prediction of the company's response to different circumstances.
