Abstract: Fashion disposal of Gen X and Gen Y consumers is significant globally. The study analyses how the fashion disposal behaviours of different generations are affected by environmental concern and willingness to contribute to sustainable consumption, such as the purchase, reuse and donation of environmentally friendly products to the needy or in charity. A qualitative and quantitative approach is adopted wherein data is analysed using descriptive statistics, exploratory factor analysis, correlation and regression. The study will bring positive sentiments while disposing of undesirable items. The research reveals the factors responsible for fashion disposition of Generation X and Generation Y. By examining the fashion disposal behaviour of different generations, essential catalysts for disposal are highlighted, as well as the necessity for education regarding sustainable product disposal practices. The results are worthwhile for distributors of fashion, marketers, environmentalists, ecological research, charities and policymakers.
