Abstract: Medication delivery system is used for injecting the predefined amount of drug into the body, in a specific period of time. Earlier, authors proposed various pumps for drug delivery such as touchscreen pump, microcontroller pump, dual syringe pump, and etc. These systems have drawbacks such as they are manual, have crude methods and need constant monitoring. In this paper, a new method is presented to create a cost effective wireless ease drug delivery system, which can overcome the deficiencies of the aforesaid drug delivery systems. In the proposed system, the control and operation of the drug delivery system are performed wirelessly from the nursing counter, located within a range of 30 m via android device. The device will provide data of all the installed drug delivery systems on a single screen. Also, it requires only a single staff member to monitor them and give them necessary instructions via same android device.
