Abstract: In recent days, employee happiness along with employee engagement has become the buzzword in the business sectors. The present study aims to identify a positive relationship between employee happiness, employee engagement and organisational commitment and tries to find out whether employee happiness and employee engagement can be predicting factors of organisational commitment in the banking sector of India. Descriptive research design has been followed in this study and it comprises of 337 samples collected from bank employees. After multivariate linear regression analysis, results indicate a significant positive relationship between employee happiness and engagement and also show that employee happiness and engagement can have predictive value for organisational commitment for the employees working in the Indian banking sector.
