Abstract: The traditional evaluation process of distance learning engagement cannot solve the problem of hierarchical confusion of the data to be processed, which leads to low recovery rate of distance learning engagement data and large evaluation error. A distance learning engagement evaluation method based on multi-layer linear model is proposed. We establish the level index of distance learning curriculum, compile the questionnaire of students and teachers, and determine the influencing factors of distance teaching involvement. By constructing a multi-layer linear model of distance learning, this paper analyses the curriculum effectiveness that affects students' engagement ability in distance learning, and evaluates the engagement degree of distance learning. The simulation results verify that the recovery rate of the proposed method is above 97%, and the error rate of the evaluation of distance learning engagement is below 0.002%.
