Abstract: Among the vital and strategic actions and tools higher education pursues to encounter environmental changes, we can refer to university entrepreneurship and the development of the entrepreneurial university. Accordingly, this study sought to present a behavioural model for the managers of entrepreneurial universities towards realizing the agile, efficient, and tangible ideology of the entrepreneurial university. A qualitative research method was used for achieving the university managers' entrepreneurial behaviour model with an entrepreneurial university approach. Likewise, the content analysis method (open and axial coding) was employed for data collection. The results show that, based on the coding paradigm and final model of the study, the entrepreneurial behaviours of managers are influenced by causal conditions, wherein fundamental factors and intervening conditions are also effective. All these factors, ultimately, eventuate to the adoption of some strategies by managers, as well as consequences derived from entrepreneurial behaviours.
