Abstract: A good number of developing countries around the world are taking pleasure in the revolution of the e-government field to provide basic services with regards to their citizens. Yet, public sectors encounter many difficulties in implementing the e-governments' solutions among its infrastructure for enhancing current products and services or developing new solutions. Consequently, the cloud computing technologies play an essential role to eliminate these problems, which expands the cloud computing processing capabilities towards the network edge, to match these needs. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an abstract of a hybrid model intended for adapting edge and cloud computing in the field of e-government in order to manage and overcome e-government implementation-related difficulties. Finally, this model recognises two different patterns which are edge and cloud for scheduling governmental products and services amongst the data centres. The intelligent devices built with low-power processors represents a highly effective option.
